How long have you been in business?

Da Mikele Illagio has been operating since January of 2014. The owners have been in the catering business since 1987.

Will you personally attend my event?

Yes, the General Manager or a top level executive will be on hand.

How many weddings/events do you typically have each day?

No more than two or one, or only one if requested

How many people can Da Mikele Illagio accommodate?

From 50 up to 750 for weddings. Up to 1,500 for corporate events and 2,500 with full property.

What is the rental fee?

Rates vary depending on the event, specific needs and time of year. We have non-profit rates.

Is there a discount if I book an off-season date?

There is an off-season rate and rates are less expensive Monday through Friday. Please inquire.

When is the deposit due?

Deposit is due upon signing of a contract.

Can I hold my ceremony at Da Mikele Illagio too? Is there an additional charge?

Yes, from $500 to $1,000.

Is there a bride’s changing area?

Yes.

Do you have indoor and outdoor areas?

Yes, we have outdoor terraces plus a roof deck.

What’s the cancellation policy?

You must cancel within 48 hours.

How long I am allowed to use the event space I reserve?

This varies based on the event.

Is there any overtime fees if I stay longer?

Yes.

Is there a minimum or maximum rental time allowed?

3 hours minimum – 18 hours on the daily basis.

Can I move things around and decorate to  be suitable for my purposes, or do I have to leave everything as is?

We prefer you leave things as is, but we are willing to work with you to make sure the space reflects your vision.

Are there any decoration guidelines or restrictions?

Yes.

Can I hire my own vendors (caterer, coordinator, DJ, etc.), or must I select from a preferred vendor list?

Yes, you may use your own vendors.

Do you have a list of vendors you recommend?

Can my vendors start the setup the day before?

No, though if there is not an event the day before, we can make an exception.

How early can vendors start set up the day of my event?

On average, 2-3 hours prior, but depending on our event schedule, this may be flexible.

Can the outdoor space be heated and/or protected from the elements if necessary?

Yes.

Can I use my own caterer or do I need to use your food?

Outside catering is permited based on approval.

Do you provide chairs, tables, linens, plates, silverware and glassware? Can I rent them myself?

Yes.

Can I do a food tasting before finalizing my menu selection?

No.

Can I tour the kitchen?

Yes.

Can I bring in my cake from an outside bakery or must I use your cake made on the premises?

Yes, you can.

Is there a cake-cutting fee?

No.

Do you provide special utensils for cake-cutting?

Yes.

Can I bring my own wine, champagne or beer? or any other alcohol?

No.

Are you alcohol licensed?

Yes.

Is alcohol priced per person?

Yes, priced per person.

is there any additional charges for bar staff?

Yes.

is there any restrictions on a time by which the music must end?

No.

Can you venue accommodate a live band or DJ?

Yes, we can accommodate either.

Is there parking available? If so, is it complimentary?

Yes. It is complimentary.

Do you offer valet parking, and what is the charge?

Yes, at no additional fee.

Are cabs easy to accessible from the venue?

Yes.

If a shuttle service is needed, can you assist with setting it up?

Yes.

Will the restrooms be shared with any other event during my event?

No, you have exclusive use of the restrooms in your area.

Do you offer on-site coordination?

Yes, we offer complete on-site coordination the day of your event.

Does your venue has liability insurance?

Yes.
